(Marina Lookout) - Waterview! Enjoy exploring San Juan Island from the Marina Lookout. This lower level, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo is a great home base for your extended island visit. Walking distance to Friday Harbor shopping, dining, theater, and farmers market, this property is perfect to enjoy town life yet situated perfectly to avoid the hustle and bustle.

The living room offers picture windows to enjoy watching the boat traffic coming in and out of the harbor. There is also a balcony to sit outside and relax. Or if you prefer, there is a flat screen Smart Tv in the living room. This property also offers high speed wireless internet.

The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and is oriented so one can enjoy the view while preparing your meals. The dining area offers seating for 4. There is also bar seating for 3.

The primary bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed and has an adjoining primary bath. There is also balcony access from the primary bedroom. The primary bedroom also has a flat screen television.

The second bedroom is furnished with two twin beds. The guest bath includes a shower as well as a stackable washer and dryer.

Please Note, Marina Lookout has a minimum stay requirement of 1 calendar month (27-30 nights depending on monthly calendar). The $800 cleaning fee is for the checkout clean after guests depart the apartment. If you are booking more than 1 calendar month, you will be assessed another cleaning fee ($250 mid-stay cleaning fee) and administrative fee for each calendar month rented.

Guests are required to leave the premises during the scheduled mid-stay clean.

If booking 2 or more consecutive months, we will call you to confirm your reservation. Your reservation is not confirmed until we speak with you directly.

    This was probably in the top 4 or 5 vacation experiences in our lifetime. (And that includes France, Disney, New York, etc) The space was so ideal for our needs, it was very clean and the view spectacular. We were contacted and asked if everything was allright and given a contact number if we had any issues. We loved having the washer and dryer in the unit. The proximity to the town of Friday Harbor made it easy and enjoyable to dine and shop. We would recommend this property to anyone and hope to be able to return next year.

    We appreciated the in-town location (walk to downtown amenities-museums, shops, galleries, restaurants, ferry, farmers' market on Saturday mornings). Note that the walk along the downtown streets can be very hilly--be prepared! Assuming this is a once-in-a lifetime trip to San Juan Island, to experience all that the island has to offer (outside of town), visitors need a car at some point; you can rent a vehicle in Seattle or Anacortes and drive it on to the ferry, or arrange for a car on-island. We loved having the washer/dryer in the unit, but it's a stackable set with smaller than standard capacity, so we used it quite a few times. Marina Lookout offered great views and a location that suited us, but the property is a little tired. We can see that the owner is making improvements over time, but our 3 star rating on "general condition" reflects that there's room for updating and freshening up. Kudos to property manager Chris G--he was a gem, and responded very quickly and professionally to a couple of matters that needed attention. Thanks, Chris, for your attentiveness!

    The condo was a perfect winter escape. The view of the marina was wonderful, interesting rain or shine, and the location is both quiet and within easy walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores, library, church, ferry terminal,and all services in Friday Harbor. Easy parking. Well equipped kitchen. Our only suggestion would be a better mattress in the master bedroom.
