San Juan Suites - Channel Room- Disembark from the ferry and within an easy walk, arrive at this centrally located second floor room in the heart of the quaint seaside village of Friday Harbor. With interior updates in 2020, the Channel Room is located within a stone's throw of specialty coffee shops, fine restaurants, galleries, and a variety of shopping options, with only a short stroll further to the SJ Community Theater or the Whale Museum.

This private room offers a King bed, full bath, comfortable easy chairs and an entertainment center with a DVD player and satellite TV for relaxing moments during your stay. This unit also has an ironing board and iron hanging in the closet. Complimentary coffee provided for the standard, drip-style coffeemaker to start the day, as well as a mini-fridge to keep things cool.

This room has good cell phone reception.

This property has an adjoining door with Valley Farm (Valley Farm is pet friendly), which can be unlocked for joint groups.

This unit is not recommended for those with a young child.

There is not an elevator in the building; climbing a flight of stairs is required.

Conveniently located just a short walk from the ferry for those wishing to leave their car behind on the mainland. However, parking is available for those who bring a car. One car per unit.

There is no laundry machine in this unit. If you are staying more than 3 nights, please call the office for fresh towels.

This unit is equipped with a mini-split heat/cool pump.

  We spent 3 days, 2 nights at the San Juan Suites Channel Room. Seamless check in and check out, very comfortable rooms. We did get contacted about a malfunctioning satellite TV system but our room was unaffected. Room was clean, comfortable and relatively quiet. We did not look closely to discover no microwave in room but that is a minor miss on our part. This place was very close to the harbor and all of downtown, bed was comfy and we had a wonderful stay! We were just steps from our whale watch cruise provider and just around the corner from our kayaking guide. We were able to travel out to parks, Roche Harbor and the lavender fields in addition to the 2 water activities. Great midweek in FH!

The only thing missing was a view (Channel Room), but we didn’t go to Friday Harbor to sit in the room, so that didn’t matter. It’s located in the heart of everything, an easy walk from the ferry and near all the restaurants. A bit noisy on Friday night when the bar lets out, but it soon died down.   Amenities were comparable to any nice hotel in side your room. Coffee maker, shampoo, tv (bring DVDs if you want), two chairs, super comfy bed, but you have the ease and privacy of it being above shops and in town. There was some noise in the morning due to the shops and people, but it didn't bother me as we knew we were in town.

  It is great to be located downtown in Friday Habour. Stepping out into town is so convienient and it gives an extra dimension to the visit. We particularly enjoyed late evening walks around the town and early morning walks by the marina when the town was quiet.

  So very easy to check in, and having a parking space was fabulous. Great location for a solid price. But when you show the room online, mention that there's no view. I don't want to have to figure that out. The room is nice, convenient, and doesn't need a view. So be honest with customers....TELL THEM! Other than that, excellent!
