Welcome to De Haro Bay House, a beautifully appointed Nantucket-style waterfront retreat (no dock access), thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. With two spacious bedrooms, an additional sleeping space, and three bathrooms, this inviting home is ideal for a small family, two couples, or a peaceful getaway with friends (not to exceed 4 people).

Wake up to serene water views and step outside to enjoy direct access to Mitchell Bay via a medium bank (no dock access). Bring your own kayak or paddleboard and spend your days exploring the calm waters right outside your door.

Bedroom #1: Located on the main floor and boasts a King bed and full en suite bathroom.
Bedroom #2: Located upstairs, this spacious room boasts a King bed with the shared bathroom located in the hallway.
Sleeping Space: there is an extra sleeping space upstairs with a queen bed. Though this home provides 3 beds, it is not to exceed 4 people.

After a day outdoors, unwind by the cozy propane fireplace or refresh in spa-like bathrooms. The fully equipped kitchen makes home-cooked meals a breeze, while modern furnishings and coastal touches throughout create a clean, stylish, and welcoming atmosphere.

The outdoor spaces at De Haro Bay House are designed to be enjoyed in every season, rain or shine. Two covered porches invite you to slow down and take in the surroundings—sip your morning coffee on the waterside back porch as the sun rises, or relax on the front porch as the evening light fades. For a memorable evening, take your personal kayak around the corner by Snug Harbor Resort and watch the sun set over the water.

A small waterfront yard provides space for cornhole and other yard games, and the waterfront patio is perfect for gathering. Enjoy outdoor dining for six or unwind around the seasonal fire table with four Adirondack chairs—ideal for s’mores, happy hour, or stargazing at night. Two additional Adirondack chairs sit at the water’s edge, offering peaceful views of the bay, local wildlife, and Young Hill—perfect for quiet moments of reflection. Guests are welcome to explore the beach within the property lines, as the home includes privately owned tidelands. No dock access.

The home is conveniently located within a 30-minute walk or a 5-minute drive to numerous scenic hiking trails, including Roche Harbor Trails, Young Hill, English Camp, and the Alpaca Farm. Westcott Bay Shellfish and Roche Harbor are just a 10-minute drive away, while Friday Harbor town is approximately 15–20 minutes by car.

De Haro Bay House is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood and is best suited for guests seeking a peaceful retreat. We kindly ask that you be considerate of the neighbors. This home is not suitable for loud groups, parties, or amplified music, allowing everyone to enjoy the calm and natural beauty of the area.

Whether you’re sipping morning coffee by the water or cozying up indoors by the fire, De Haro Bay House offers the perfect setting for a memorable waterfront escape.

*Fire pits are not usable from May 1st-September 30th due to county burn ban and safety of property and neighboring areas. Ban is usually lifted October 1st if/when conditions and weather are favorable.
