The cabin is nestled in its own private yard just feet away from a small bay, with a stream and pond as a boundary. The shared low bank beach on Jackson’s lagoon is a small saltwater bay where you can see blue herons, kingfishers, eagles, the occasional deer or fox, and watch the moon rise bigger than life over the bay at dusk. The tidal water fluctuates, and this property has a partial water view.

The queen bedroom is cozy and comfortable, and the full bathroom is just off of the bedroom. NOTE: if a guest is sleeping on the couch, they will have to walk through the bedroom to access the bathroom.

The secluded yard offers a patio table and barbeque for the summer months. Blackberries are ripe for the picking in early autumn. In the quiet winter months, create a second honeymoon or holiday turkey memories in the snug warm cottage.

  I absolutely love this spot. I travel out to Friday Harbor for work and it really feels like my home away home. It has everything you need! It’s within walking distance of town(30min) and walking distance to a wonderful beach/park(15min). The bed is very comfortable. The shower has great pressure and plenty of hot water. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and every appliance works well. The natural beauty of the property is wonderful and I have often seen deer in the front yard near the water. The beach in front of the cottage is only accessible at low tide but the view is nice and again, there’s a magnificent huge beach just a 15 min walk or 2 min drive. It’s the perfect spot for a solo traveler or a couple. There is even a pullout bed so maybe even 3 would be comfy! Overall, absolutely love this place and will be back soon!
