Newly renovated 1929 cottage near Roche Harbor. Modern updates with charm and comfort. This lovely rental home is just a few-minute-drive away from the historic Roche Harbor Resort. Enjoy the modern updates while also soaking in the historic atmosphere. Relax among the 3 acres of meadow and forest. Unwind watching deer, foxes and eagles outside.

The two downstairs bedrooms each have a Queen bed. The upstairs bedroom with its large open space, has 2 Queen beds (upstairs bedroom is shared sleeping area with open floor plan). All beds have new, comfortable mattresses, bedding and down comforters.

The downstairs bath has a full shower, and the upstairs bath has a smaller clawfoot bathtub.

The home has a level 2 electric car charger outlet for your use. Charging cord is not provided.

The kitchen has marble counter tops and stainless-steel appliances, and is fully stocked with quality cookware and cooking essentials (coffee, tea, olive oil and vinegar, spices, etc.)

There is a 42” flat screen TV with Netflix, Amazon, etc.

This home is equipped with electric heat and a new (2023) electric fireplace in the living room. This home also has mini-split heat/cool pump in the dining room.

There is an outdoor fire pit (seasonally available) with chairs, as well as a sunny deck with propane BBQ, table and chairs.

** Upstairs has an open concept with two (2) Queen beds and a shared bathroom. There are three (3) total bedrooms with four (4) Queen beds throughout the home. The house comfortably sleeps three couples/six people plus one or two (maximum) children.

    This cottage was very cozy and clean, with a very welcoming atmosphere. The beds were good and the a\c helped maintain a good temperature in the home. Though there is a 15-18 minute drive to Friday harbor, the drive is very visualistic. My only recommendation for those who plan to stay is to bring additional flashlights or an led lantern as it can get quite dark outside with no road lights, or lights around the open space beyond the home leading to complete darkness at night.

    We were attending a wedding at the nearby resort (roche harbor) and found this house after seeing the resort prices - it was perfect for our family of four plus a visiting family member for three nights and calm and much more our style than the resort. Very cozy and well remodeled, a classy interior. The home mentions the fire pit but a burn ban is on all summer, would be helpful to mention that. The home absolutely requires a car it is, to note.

    Pearlie Cottage was the perfect place to stay with kids and grandparents for our 4 days on San Juan Island. The house was immaculate and very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and there were plenty of towels and linens. We would definitely stay at Pearlie cottage again. Also the property management company was very organized and prompt to respond to emails.
