Come and relax in this modern house surrounded by evergreen trees, a private beach, and stunning views of Henry Island and White Point! This home is located at the end of a quiet road.

Horseshoe Bay House is a great place to make some San Juan Island memories! This home was built in 2013, is comfortably furnished, and offers water views throughout. The house sits above the bay and the shoreline is accessed by a set of outdoor stairs. Depending on the tide, the beach is between 0 and 300 feet in length, perfect for launching kayaks or paddleboards (not provided). The famous Westcott Bay Shellfish Farm is a short paddle across the Bay!

There is no dock access at this property. High Bank Waterfront.

The kitchen and dining room provide enough space for everyone to gather comfortably around the table or prepare meals together. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and plenty of dishes, cookware, and spices.

The upstairs primary suite has a view of the bay, a King-sized bed, and is connected to an ensuite 3/4 bathroom. Enjoy watching a movie on the flat screen tv with a Roku for streaming services.

The guest bedroom is upstairs with a view of the bay, a Queen bed and a 3/4 bathroom (plus a twin day bed, perfect for a child).

The home also has an extra twin bed rollaway which can be set up in either bedroom for a second child.

The living room's comfortable couch and heated concrete floors will keep you warm and comfortable during those winter months, or cool during the summer season. There is a1/2 bath just off of the living room.

For those traveling with electric vehicles, an electric vehicle charging station is provided at this home.

This house is perfect for two couples or two couples with a child.

If traveling with small children, please be very cautious due to the high bank waterfront.

This house has outdoor security cameras.

Dock is not for guest use.

No Pets.

This is a Non-Smoking property.

It is about a 15-minute drive from Friday Harbor and 10-minute drive from Roche Harbor.

Neighbors will be accessing the private dock through the shared gate at the driveway entrance (private dock is not for guest use).

The internet / Wi-fi at this house should be sufficient for streaming video, phone calls, remote work and video conferencing.

Please be advised, yard maintenance may occur during your stay.

  We had a lovely long weekend at the Horseshoe Bay House. The house was clean and in great shape. The kitchen was well stocked -- far beyond what we expected! Rooms were comfortable. And the view was amazing. Having the beach for launching paddleboards (and seeing a seal!) was great. We would definitely visit again!

  We enjoyed every minute of our stay in this quiet, well-appointed, clean, comfortable, and ideally situated house. We brought our own kayak and launched easily from the small beach below the house, enjoying daily paddles around the calm waters and to English Camp, Henry Island, and the Wescott Bay Shellfish dock to eat at their restaurant. The weather was ideal and the west-facing view provided beautiful sunsets every evening. Though next to the gravel road and a shared private dock, we had no issue with noise (it's not a thru-road), and the neighbors were quiet and respectful when they used the dock. The lovely kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals, and the outside gas grill was easy to use. We were sad to leave and look forward to returning!

  We loved staying at the Horseshoe Bay House, it was extremely comfortable and clean!
  
  we cooked many meals here and were impressed with their fully-stocked kitchen! After thumbing through their cookbooks, we were drawn to "Baking with Julia", we just had to make the Blueberry Nectarine pie, and we had everything we needed, down to the microplane for zesting a lemon!
  
  We saw a harbor seal playing in the bay, otters sunbathing on a nearby boat, bald eagles flying all from the living room. Our daughter loved their large collection of games and toys, especially "Pit", who knew a four-year-old enjoyed buying and selling commodities :)

  We have now stayed at this property twice with a upcoming plan for a third; that fact alone underscores my high approval of this location. The Horseshoe Bay House is a lovely property tucked into the quieter side of San Juan. It was exactly as described in the description. Those who like to cook will love the extremely well appointed kitchen; I generally travel with my favorite gear (sharp knives, specialty gear) and all of that has stayed packed as the kitchen has everything you need. The bedrooms are spacious with large closets and new and comfortable bathrooms both of which have showers only. We loved the outdoor area and had multiple meals outside. The house is close to the road but it is quiet and we were not disturbed by this fact during any of our stays. During crab season, the house is a kayak trip away from all the best spots.
  Finally, the hosts are very thoughtful having stocked the house throughout with needed items making our whole stay really easy.

  Stayed in this house Tu-Fri in mid July as a last minute booking. Beautiful, comfortable, immaculate home -much better than expected. A couple of considerations - it's about a 20 minute (easy drive) from Friday harbor and there is no actual access to the water at the home though the view is fantastic. Very easy access to North end of the island including Roche Harbor.

A staircase has been added leading from the bank to the waterfront. Guests now have access to the lovely, tide-dependent, beach below the home.
