Located above the ever-popular vegan restaurant, Mike's Cafe and Wine Bar, you can experience all the island has to offer at this relaxed and upscale restaurant. Just remodeled in 2019, this new condo has the luxury of being just steps away from the Saturday Farmers Market or the local gourmet grocery store, this location can't be beat!!

Relax in the beautifully designed king-sized bedroom with views of downtown Friday Harbor. Enjoy the spacious jetted shower equipped with music for your enjoyment. This is the perfect spot for a romantic island getaway. The hand-crafted table has seating for 6 and pulls out to make another comfortable king-sized bed. This two bed, two bath condo is the perfect spot to enjoy all San Juan Island has to offer. On-site parking is available for 1 car. Enjoy shopping, biking, hiking or one of the many eco-tours the island accommodates.

This unit is equipped with a mini-split heat/cool system in the main bedroom and the TV room.

This is a great getaway for singles or couples. Not suitable for families with small children.

Pets are not allowed at this property.

The restaurant closes at 9pm and does not have a loud restaurant atmosphere.
On-site parking is available.

The internet / Wi-fi at this house should be sufficient for streaming video, phone calls, remote work and video conferencing.

    Our original rental fell through which brought us to this property for our trip. All guests were extremely impressed with the cleanliness of the rental and pleased with the location with respect to the various excursions we had planned and downtown Friday Harbor. There was minimal to no sound from the downstairs business so don’t let that deter you. We would definitely book this property again.

    The Penthouse at Mike's was a great place for me, my husband, and our 14 year-old daughter to stay during our vacation in Friday Harbor in July. The apartment was spacious, immaculately clean, and ideally located in the center of town. From the apartment, you can easily walk anywhere in Friday Harbor--shops, eateries, the ferry, the Whale Museum, etc. We appreciated having a parking spot, as we brought a car for excursions outside of Friday Harbor. The king size beds in both the master bedroom and in the living room, plus TWO bathrooms, both outfitted with showers (!), were a fantastic fit for our family of two adults and a teen. The restaurant downstairs is delicious and if you are a wine fan, you'll be hard-pressed to find a more varied, thoughtfully curated, and affordable selection of wines on the Island. Do *not* miss the Hummus Platter. The medium-sized fridge is big enough to store sodas, waters, and some snacks and there's a market within easy walking distance. I walked round the corner to Sweet Treat and picked up delicious breakfast burritos and coffee concoctions for the family every morning. And Tina's Place, also a short walk, is great for breakfast or a Mexican food lunch. I highly recommend this accommodation. We'd return in a heartbeat.

    This place is wonderfully located in Friday’s Harbor. Very comfortable place to stay. Beds are amazing! We would stay here again. Make sure to eat at the restaurant located below. The food was delicious, our favorite dish was the Thai Pasta. The only hiccup we had was getting Alexia to follow our directions! This did provide us with a lot of laughs!

    The apartment is in a terrific location; a short walk from the ferry. We walked into town and rented e-assist bikes for our stay and it worked out great! Mike is super friendly and the place had everything we needed (groceries are across the street). The restaurant is really great; our whole family enjoyed the meals we had there!

    Excellent location for experiencing downtown Friday Harbor while also allowing you to "get away" from the downtown corridor with only a five minute walk. Excellent food and great people in the cafe/bar below. Property management informed us that the property was ready for early check-in, which was a nice surprise. Property management very attentive, informative & friendly when talking with them. Highly recommend this property!
